Advantages of SMR Recondenser
- SMR Recondenser is only an additional pipe design. FGSS skid is hence more compact in size compares to competitor design
- As full recondensing is achievable, there is no requirement to pressure drop the recondensing system back to tank pressure. Energy generated by the pump and BOG Compressor for the recondensing system is therefore optimized without energy lost. There is also no requirement for a separate buffer tank to cater for any flashing due to incomplete recondensing
- Since recondensed mixture is not recycled back to LNG tank, no additional flashing gas will be generated due to the “high pressure” and “high temperature” backflow BOG condensate
- Our SMR recondensation system can use BOG compressor that meet the ISO 8573-1 Class 1 oil content requirement of 0.01 mg/Nm³ at 1 bara, it does not require stringent design requirement on the BOG Compressor
- C-LNG SMR Recondenser has already proven track record in FGSS application
