From 2016 to 2019, the core team operated within the energy division of a Hong Kong-listed enterprise, accumulating profound experience in the energy trading and marine fuel supply chain. In 2018, the team was selected as a partner of Shell’s LNG as Marine Fuel team, marking the official launch of long-term strategic cooperation with a global energy leader and laying a solid foundation for subsequent business expansion

In 2019, C-LNG Solutions Pte. Ltd. was formally incorporated, establishing an independent commercial platform dedicated to marine LNG fuel system solutions. The company quickly secured landmark project orders in the following year. In 2020, it was awarded the Fuel Gas Supply System (FGSS) contract for Tiger Gas’s 14,000 TEU dual-fuel container vessel. Meanwhile, the enterprise joined the Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel (SGMF), gaining access to the global industrial platform for marine gaseous fuel standards, communication and cooperation.

Business and industry influence continued to expand in 2021. C-LNG obtained the FGSS contract for Zodiac’s 7,000 unit dual-fuel Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC). Furthermore, the company became a member of the SGMF Asia-Pacific Committee, empowering it to participate in the formulation and promotion of regional marine gas fuel industry standards.

2022 represented a year of diversified breakthroughs. The company won the FGSS retrofit contract for Matson’s ALOHA-class container ships, venturing into the vessel retrofitting market. It also secured the integrated EPC contract covering FGSS and fuel tanks for Bank of Communications Leasing’s 7,600 unit dual-fuel PCTC. To reinforce local technical service capacity, C-LNG founded the LNG FGSS & CHS Operation Training Center in Shanghai, China, delivering professional operation training services for shipowners and crews.

The company maintained robust order momentum from 2023 to 2024. In 2023, two key contracts were awarded: the FGSS package for BYD’s 9,200 unit dual-fuel PCTC, and the FGSS contract for newbuilding ALOHA-class container ships with HPSI. In 2024, C-LNG secured the FGSS contract for CMA CGM’s 24,000 TEU ultra-large container vessel. Beyond LNG systems, the enterprise expanded its technology portfolio by winning the supply contract for an LNG/LPG/Methanol multi-fuel testing system for Hengli Heavy Industry, covering multiple emerging low-carbon marine fuels.

Entering 2025, C-LNG extended its business boundary beyond marine engineering to onshore and offshore energy projects. It was awarded the LNG storage tank system contract for Shell’s Bahamas LNG-to-Power project, alongside the Pre-FEED contract for Shell’s 20,000 m³ Floating Storage and Regasification Barge (FSRB). To strengthen the supply chain of core cryogenic equipment, C-NAC was established, focusing on delivering high-performance, reliable cryogenic pumps for the global market.

In 2026, C-LNG set up another subsidiary, DM C-LNG, to deliver full-lifecycle services for LNG-related systems to shipowners across the globe. This move completes the company’s service layout spanning equipment supply, engineering delivery, technical training and long-term lifecycle support. Driven by the global shipping industry’s decarbonization agenda, C-LNG Solutions has evolved from a marine FGSS engineering supplier into a comprehensive low-carbon energy solution provider.
